Departments

The Tunisian Forum for Youth Empowerment works through specialized departments dedicated to education, inclusion, youth development and international solidarity.

About TFYE Departments

TFYE structures its work around four main departments. Each department develops projects and activities that strengthen young people’s capacities, promote human rights, encourage inclusion and support civic engagement.

Education Department

The Education Department focuses on school life activities in partnership with the Ministry of Education. It creates spaces where pupils can co-design community and awareness projects. It also promotes citizenship, human rights, child protection, inclusion and participation.

Health Ambassadors

2022 / 2023

A school health promotion project based on the creation of health clubs in 36 schools in Jendouba and El Kef.

My Civic School – EcoCito

2023 / 2025

A project designed to strengthen citizenship and human rights education in primary schools through educational clubs.

Education Hub – PCPA Program

2018 / 2025

A Franco-Tunisian consultation space bringing together organizations engaged in education, good practices and advocacy for inclusive schools.

Innova-Science Jendouba

2023 / 2026

A project promoting scientific education and innovation through science clubs in schools in Jendouba.

Cultural Life of French Departments

2025

A university cultural project aiming to create a French club and develop students’ skills in cultural animation, French-language activities and event organization.

School Clubs in Action

2023 / 2025

A project implemented in 40 primary schools to promote pupil participation through the creation of school clubs.

Inclusion Department

The Inclusion Department is dedicated to gender equality and support for vulnerable groups, including young people with disabilities, women victims of violence and marginalized youth. Its approach is based on listening, empowerment, care and the recognition of each person’s capacities.

Inclusive Camp

2019 / 2025

Organized with the Ministry of Youth, this camp brings together young people with and without disabilities for exchange, creativity and awareness around inclusion.

PADSSR – Access to Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights Program

2024 / 2026

A program focused on access to sexual and reproductive health rights, with actions around prevention, training and digital communication.

Youth & Development Department

This department focuses on socio-professional integration, capacity building and youth support. It offers training, practical workshops, coaching and individualized follow-up to help young people develop life projects, business plans and sustainable economic initiatives.

JASMIN Project

2019 / 2022

A project promoting social inclusion, employability, entrepreneurship and prevention of marginalization among young people.

FORMER – Alternatives to Irregular Migration

2023 / 2026

A project offering sustainable socio-economic opportunities to young people, women and marginalized groups, especially in the agri-food sector.

International Solidarity Department

The International Solidarity Department coordinates international partnerships and mobility programs. It organizes intercultural exchanges and collaborative projects with foreign partners, allowing young people to discover new perspectives and develop cooperation skills.

An Erasmus+ project strengthening youth civic engagement through digital intercultural exchanges.

FABRIC Project

An international mobility program gathering young people around intercultural experiences and the co-creation of awareness-raising tools.

Dynamique Solidarity Workcamp

A solidarity project gathering Tunisian and French youth around disability-related awareness and action.

2026

A solidarity project organized with partners to bring together Tunisian and French youth around disability and inclusion.

Through its departments and projects, TFYE supports young people not only as beneficiaries, but as real actors of social change, capable of identifying priorities, designing local solutions and leading collective actions with sustainable impact.
